Is Aasent Mortgage Corporation a good mortgage lender?
Does anyone have any experience with them? They seem to have much lower rates than the other more popular national lenders I've researched.

I have not heard of them and if they are not heard of.... DON'T DEAL with them.
It's probably some new and upcoming company, I never trust anything new when it comes to my biggest concerns.

aasent mortgage- Anyone heard of them or done busn with them ...
I had to push all the way and threaten to cancel closing to get them to honor their "guaranteed" closing fees. They also promised a float down, and then refused to honor it because it was onlyl 1/8 point difference, and their "policy" is 1/4 or more in order to float I would strongly recomend this company to anyone looking for a mortgage. Reply:I took out a mortgage with these guys, and did my homework before deciding to go with them. I probably talked to 10 other companies before going with aasent. We close tomorrow, so I won't know till then if they follow through. My closing costs were ovber $1200. Reply:Be very careful with them....
